With the first half of the International award season behind us we put the spotlight on our favorite Egyptian and Arab stars that took to the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival and were part of the 10 days of glamour at the French Riviera last May.

Egyptian actress Shahira Fahmy who played a role in Cannes’ biggest surprise, Egyptian hit movie Youmedin, took to the red carpet twice. The day of the “Youmedin” premiere, she was dressed in a green and blue Elie Saab gown, and once again stepped out in a ravishing red chiffon gown by Dior.

With her stunning looks, Lebanese, Dubai based TV show host Diala Makki  can’t really go wrong to wow the crowd and the paparazzi. This year she donned a red gown by fellow Lebanese designer Georges Hobeika at the Chopard Trophy gala night and took to the red carpet at the Palais de Festival in a daring black gown by Dior.

Social media influencer Jessica Kahawaty stunned at the opening night of the Cannes Film Festival in a super fitted Zuhair Murad gown with a dramatic feather boa. On the red carpet she stunned again in a sequined baby blue gown by Georges Hobeika.

Going for a princess look, Tunisian actress Dorra Zarrouk chose a lilac colored Elie Saab gown for her red carpet appearance at the premiere of “Les Filles Du Soleil”. At the Chopard Trophee night she donned a black siren gown by Lebanese designer Tony Ward.
